I cracked my eggs this morning to make my Sunday scrambled eggs for breakfast. Whereas mid-week egg making is quick, plain, and no frills, Sunday egg making are special with all the whistles and bells.

I got all the ingredients (tomato, onion, spinach, mushrooms, and avocado; no sausage today) ready and began cracking the eggs. The ingredients make it just less of a Denver (as in Denver omelette). Anyways, I got excited when one of the eggs came out double. Decades ago, I would have been shocked and thrown it away. I haven’t seen a double-yolk egg in decades so I prophetically claimed it 😊.

God is speaking

God has been showing me doubles for a while and I just recently paid attention. I muttered silently that He even used the eggs! What a mighty God He is,

You know God speaks all the time. The problem is that we’re too busy to notice because we are unaligned and our antenna is untuned to Father God’s frequency. But He does speak.

God speaks in many ways. And He speaks in a language that you can understand. He uses metaphors and speaks allegorically. He also uses nature and numbers. Of course, God uses people. However, if God is speaking to you and you aren’t picking up on His frequency, the delay or non-adherence will be on your part and not His. With my walk with Him, at the appointed time, He will often bring his word or message to your remembrance.

The faster you pay attention to what God is saying and you show Him that He’s caught your attention, the quicker it manifests and the more He does speak to you. That is letting Him know that you’ve tuned to His frequency just like in Exodus 3 when He caught Moses’ attention with the burning bush.

Whatever God uses to speak to you might be incoherent to another and that’s okay. Whatever the metaphor means to you might mean something else to another. The key is for you to understand how God speaks to you.

You probably see double-yolk eggs everyday and never thought anything of it. That’s okay. God was probably not using it to draw your attention. And guess what, He probably did and you didn’t realize it. But, I adjure you to start paying attention now; not only to the eggs, but other things and/or people God might be talking through to you.

I prophesy to you

So today, as I claim the double for myself, I decree and declare double for all your troubles, that God will restore to you double for the years that the cankerworms, caterpillars, and locusts have eaten, and
double-fold for all that has been stolen from you. I hope you receive it, including double grace for your week and month ahead.
