A fierce battle. But Congratulations are in order for the Golden State Warriors on advancing to the second round of the Season’s Playoffs. They showed supremacy, talent, and class on a hostile Houston ground.

I didn’t think the #7Warriors-#2Houston 1st Round Playoff Series would get to Game 7. But it did. Games 5 and 6 were depressing to say the least. Houston won both. I thought Warriors’ chance was about 50% on the opponent’s base considering how the Series had gone. But, then it is the Warriors – the 4 times and back-2-back champions. The Warriors signature-style is impressive – quiet confidence under pressure; in fact, they seem to play their best game when their back is against the wall. We’ve seen it over and over and over again.

To top it off, Canon – Steph Curry’s son was reported to have been upset when his Dad’s team lost game 6. Dad therefore had to play his best yet again in order to make his son happy. And his best, he did,

Every Warriors’ player stepped up. Buddy, with a whooping career-high of 33 points, was phenomenal. He carried the load at the onset as Curry and Podziemski were shut-off on both ends from scoring. Curry had only 3 points in the first-half.

Anywho, the younger but fiercer Houston team played well both defensively and offensively. But, I believe that experience got the edge.

Warriors will play Minnesota Timberwolves, who have been resting since Thursday after sweeping the LA Lakers 4-0, in Round 2.

The Warriors-Timberwolves’ Series is sure to be fireworks. A must watch. Check your local sports channels for times or watch live at any sports bar.
