We’re all searching for something

Yes, we’re all searching for something
That something is different for each of us
Some know what they’re searching for
Most however don’t
Few think they’re searching for one thing
When in fact it’s something else they need.

Many unfortunately are wandering through life
I hope that’s neither
You nor I.

Believe you me
It’s better to be searching for something
than nothing.

What are you in search of?
Is it the need to be Loved? Hugged? Embraced? A spouse?
Is it Power or Money.
A job. Or a better job?
Is it a Home? A family?

All of us need to be affirmed

For some, it is affirmation in love – to be loved,
Yet some have so much love to give away, but are lacking the right people to receive the love.
These people often fall into the wrong crowds, friendships, and/or relationships.
Yet some are surrounded by love, that they themselves repel it for various reasons.
Why? I don’t know,

Some will do anything to win the affection of another
Only to be disappointed with their “loot” once it’s in their possession.

For some, it is power.
These are the ones who aggressively climb the corporate ladder and don’t give a hoot whose ox is gored in the process. They are the ones who get to the top, and to their surprise, find that it is lonely up there. They also learn that those who surround them are so close only for the favors that they can receive from them or their position.

Yet some are searching for money.
Maybe all of us are
But we all know that he who chases after money never has enough.
How much money is enough or more than enough?
Yet we all need both love and money
Money answereth all things
Though it won’t buy you happiness or love
But it sure can get you a first-class vacation for rest and buy you the best hospital should there be the need
And money definitely gives some flex.
And Money is the reason we all work and change jobs.

Have you ever wondered what it is you’re searching for in life?
There’s an answer, a way out, or an option
For whatever it is you’re searching for in life

However, the greatest answer is Contentment.
