Did you know it was National Croissant Day on January 30th. If not, you missed “celebrating” two National Days back-2-back😊

Did you also know that January 31st was National Hot Chocolate Day! I hope you grabbed a hot choco and that your Hot Chocolate was as refreshing and enjoyable as mine was.
After sharing the National Plan your Vacation Day (NPYV) yesterday, curiosity got the better of me to find out more about National Days that are out there.
I don’t know much of National nor International Days neither have I ever heard of NPYV Day. I’m certain that there are lots out there that I still don’t know. However, if I’m interested, I’ll search it out and educate myself, or simply be aware of it. Thank goodness for Google, right?
Findings
Anyways, in my curiosity, I stumbled on some things. The biggest was that there’s actually a website dedicated to these Days. Seek, and you shall find.
I did a search for my favorite drink, Tea, and behold the find – who would have thought. There were over ten different National Days for Tea. Examples are:
- International Tea Day – December 15
- International Tea Day UN – May 21
- Kung Fu (“known to be America’s Bubble”) Tea – April 30
And guess what, National Imagination Day was January 19th. Did you know that? Well, it’s a new one founded this year.
I read the justification for this Day and it’s really compelling. This is a Day all creatives (bloggers, et al) should be aware of and celebrate going forward.
Register a Day?
Well, how are the Days established? What’s the process and can anyone register a day as National, International, or World Day? If so, what are the criteria?
As I pen my questions, I paused to review the website again. Answers to my questions were all found rummaging through the website pages. Find it here if you’d also like to know and or have a Day in mind you’d like established.
