We all have an opinion
and want to be heard
I speak my views
You speak yours
LG life is great when we both, and all, agree
But we won’t always agree.
And because we’re all different, there will be days when we disagree.
What happens then?
As friends, couples, family, colleagues, business partners or associates, etc.,
do we cancel each other out?
No, that’s immaturity,
and wanting to control,
We will have no one left on our side in the long run and our community will shrink.
What do we do
when our opinions differ
and the need to still belong is greater?
We simply posture ourselves in humility and logically view the other person’s point of view.
For when we take time to understand
We will truly not only know and appreciate one another and our differences
but also realize that there are many routes to a destination
just ask Google.
We all have an opinion
but one of yours is not to
try to put me down with your words or subtle actions
And expect me to agree, fr
No, that put-down stems from your own insecurities which I refuse for you to dump on me by trying to belittle me.
Anyone worth his/her own salt, respects him/herself and won’t belittle another to make him/herself appear superior.
We all have an opinion
Asking the “why” of a different opinion might help us all understand each other better
for a community is not always made of like-minded folks, but diverse group of folks with diverse opinions
That means our opinions will not always be the same just as we are all not the same.
But still, we can live in true harmony.
