A Singapore-flagged cargo ship struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland early Tuesday morning, causing it to collapse into the Patapsco River.

What happened? Various sources stated that “the crew of a cargo ship (Dali) issued a “mayday” saying that it had lost power and propulsion before hitting the bridge.”

I am glad however that it didn’t happen when much more people would have been on the bridge.
