And Jaylen Brown (JB) is the Finals MVP!

Woohoo! Long awaited!! And well deserved!!! Celtics defeated Dallas Mavericks in a 4-1 Finals game.

I am so elated for this Team for several reasons:
⢠The Team has been on a championship drought for 18 years;
⢠The duo of Jayson Tatum (JT) and Jaylen Brown (JB) played a total of 107 Playoff games without a win - it is the most in NBA history;
⢠Al Horford, 38-year old veteran was drafted in 2007, finally wins his first championship with the Team win; played 186 career playoffs before this win - another most in the League!
⢠Jrue Holiday was traded, from Milwaukee Bucks, just to win his second ring! (I say that sarcastically as I was disappointed that he was traded!)
⢠Derrick White chipped his tooth in todayās second quarter when dashing for a lose ball and was rolled over face down by a Mavericksā player;
⢠Joel Mazzulla becomes the youngest coach to lead his Team to an NBA Finals win.
This win makes Boston Celtics the 18 times Championship Winner; making them the āmostestā in the League, surpassing the Los Angeles Lakers.
That concludes the 2023-24 NBA Season. I hope Boston Celtics players, coaches, and management Team enjoy their long-awaited and deserved victory.
Next hoops event will be the USA Basketball Team at the 2024 Olympics Games in Paris.
Till next season, I also hope all players and coaches are enjoying the summer and season break.
CONGRATULATIONS once more to Boston Celtics and the Finals MVP, Jalen Brown.
