This past Thursday, I was driving, with a friend, to an area that I had been before. But the navigation gave me a different route than I was used to. I proceeded slowly and cautiously, albeit, reluctantly. As I was still contemplating whether to keep heading on, I asked out loud, “Am I heading the right way?” The route from the Google navigation looked like an “8”; which means that it’s a loop to the other side. My friend said, “Yes, I saw it.” “Okay”, I replied.

Was I Dreaming?!

Just as I said it, I looked up and here comes a small red car fast approaching me. I slammed on my brakes so hard. I immediately backed up a few feet just in case the other driver wasn’t able to control his brakes. As I backed up, I then immediately stepped on ny brakes again and thought “what if another car is behind me or trying to turn into the same route/road?” It was a weird navigation that I could only ascribe to a detour or something as I was not on a freeway. There was also no sign to say that there was a detour. It all happened so fast.

My Testimony

It could have been a head-on collision. But, God!

The driver in the red car also reversed l, again, so fast, to the other side which was where he should have been. As he was doing so, he waved out his hands at me as if to say “sorry, sorry.”
I then saw him wiggled through the traffic and disappeared!

Wow! 🤯 😱 what just happened?
My friend asked, “do you think he was on drugs?” I replied that “I have no clue, but I know that my God is real and alive and He just saved us. He probably wasn’t paying attention or running to get away from the Police.” My friend agreed and said, “I woke up real fast. That was defensive driving and quick thinking on your part. Thank you for asking me to put on my seat belt – that was the first thing I rechecked.” “Oh well, not to me, but to God belongs all the glory,” I replied.

He then asked if I was returning home and if I’d be okay to drive back. I responded, “no, I’m not returning honey. I have things to do … I’m fine. Thanks”

Conclusion

God is real. My God is real.
I serve a living God who never leaves me neither will He ever forsake me. Praise Him.
