Giannis Antetokounmpo!

Hey all. I know. I know. I know that the NBA Season hasn’t started. So, why are we talking about Giannis, the only Giannis in the NBA, or should I say, in America?! 🙂

Giannis is no longer available 🥹

Yes, a year after being officially engaged, Giannis, aka Greek Freak, recently got married to his longtime girlfriend, Mariah Riddlesprigger, in an exclusive VVIP (very, very important personalities (term borrowed from ProtoThema) private wedding in Greece.

Did you hear about it? I guess not! Since it was private, exclusive, and “no-cameras-allowed” ceremony, photos weren’t floating around on the social media. Kudos that Giannis, and wifey, were able to curtail the intrusions. Respect! We should all learn to respect peoples’ privacies. However, I have enjoyed captivating photos from Giannis’ Mom’s (“Queen Mama”) Instagram shares which I now share with you.

I couldn’t help myself oh’ing and ah’ing. I thank her for sharing. She sure knows that Giannis’ fans will be eager to see them.

Giannis’ Mom, Queen Mama

Queen Mama, my nickname for her, doesn’t look a bit like she popped out five (5) smashing and thriving sons. Btw, are they all married – just checking 😜 She was all regally-adorned. More blessings to her. May she live more blessed years on earth in Jesus Name.

A Void must have been felt

Giannis’ father passed on to eternity in 2017. I’m sure that Giannis’ father’s absence was felt. He couldn’t have been much happier to witness the day. Heaven must have celebrated with him on that day, too. 😇🙏🏼

Congrats all round

Congratulations to both Giannis and Mariah. I pray for continued peace, love, joy, harmony and God in the midst of their lives in the name of Jesus. Congrats to the Antetokounmpo family.

Think-Talk wishes the newly-wed eternal bliss. Thank you for celebrating them.

The Journey

Couple of documentaries/movies have been made on Giannis’ NBA journey. Giannis is so different. Yes, we all have a story. I have my story, too. Sometimes we all think that our story is THE story until you hear someone else’s.

The movies/documentaries on him, and his family, will move you to tears. I had much love for the family after watching those movies. They are available on

  1. The Marvelous Journey
  2. The Rise of Giannis
  3. Naija Odyssey (available on Amazon Prime Video)

Thanks for reading.
