As the year 2024 draws to a close, my heart is filled with immense gratitude for all that God has done for me and my family. I thank Him, privately, everyday on waking up as every morning becomes another testament of His unfailing love, goodness, mercy, patience with us, His divine protection, daily provisions, and an opportunity to share who He is. But, today, I want to publicly express all these.

Great is Your faithfulness
to us

For Your Goodness

Father God, thank You for Your goodness that has never failed us, for Your mercy that has been renewed each morning, and for Your abundant love that has surrounded us like a shield.

Lord, You have been our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in times of need. Your faithfulness has carried us through challenges, and Your grace has been more than sufficient for every moment. When we were weak, You lifted us. When we were anxious, You gave us peace. When we lacked, You provided abundantly.

For Your Divine Protection

From January to December. You’ve been true. For your angels that went before us, and brought us safely back home, on the many travels we made during the year. And what seems like failure to us, I know that You are working them together for our good according to Your purpose for our lives.

Thank You for Your divine protection over us, for guiding our steps, and for keeping us in perfect peace. You have been our healer, our provider, and our deliverer, and I am overwhelmed by Your kindness and care for us throughout 2024.

God, You are good and
Your mercies endure forever

For Divine Wisdom

I am particularly in awe for Your divine wisdom in decision-making that illuminated our paths and gave us clarity when we faced uncertainty. Your Word has been a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, guiding us faithfully every step of the way.

For Relationships

Father God, thank You for the gift of relationships—for the love and unity You have blessed my family with and for the people You have placed in our lives to encourage and uplift us. You have truly shown us that we are stronger together under Your care. You have shown Yourself mighty against every frenemy in our midst letting us know that we need not fear.

For Strength

You have been a constant source of strength during tough moments. We each had our share of those, but, even in those moments of challenge and uncertainty, we knew that You were with us, Emmanuel. You turned trials into triumphs and burdens into blessings, reminding us that nothing is impossible with You.

I acknowledge that we are not yet where You want us to be. But, Father, You’ve brought us a long way from where we used to be.

Thank You for drawing us closer to You, Lord, and for teaching us to trust You more deeply. The lessons of faith, patience, and surrender You have woven into our lives this year are treasures we hold dear.

For Our Leaders

I am grateful for every leader whom you have placed in authority over us. We thank you for that they did and ask that You continue to guide and guard them and their families.

Thank You for the outcome of our presidential election. Thank you for the peace that prevailed during and after. We place both the outgoing and incoming Presidents into Your sovereign hands.

Expectant For 2025

As I look ahead to 2025, my heart is filled with hope and expectation. I trust that Your plans for us, for our nation, and for the world are good and perfect. Father, I pray for continued blessings and wisdom for our leaders, for healing and restoration in our global world, and for Your peace to reign in hearts and homes everywhere.

Lord, I place the coming year into Your hands with full confidence that You will do exceedingly and abundantly more than I can ask or imagine. May Your will be done in my life, my family, our nation, and across the world in 2025.

Our expectations shall not be cut off

Thank You, Lord, for being our constant anchor and the source of our joy. I am excited to see the new things You will do in the year ahead and stand ready to walk in obedience and faith, trusting You every step of the way.
