I’ve always wanted to experience the thrill of a high-octane race, and I got a taste this morning. A casual neighborhood walk turned into a front-row seat to the Acura Grand Prix in Long Beach.

I got to watch a bit of the practice sessions this morning. They were just as loud and electrifying as I’d imagined — those engines roar with a kind of authority that makes your heart race. And the energy? Absolutely infectious.

The overall mood is as loud and vibrant as the racing cars. I also got an info session on a few of the drivers. You don’t want to miss it.
