Let's Reason Together

Loving Basketball: Draymond has history …

They say Draymond has history, so do we (the Golden State Warriors), we know how to bounce back.”

Steph Curry

“The above quote became Golden State Warriors’ (GSW) Guard Steph Curry’s viral tagline after winning Sacramento Kings -GSW Game 3 despite the absence of Forward Draymond Green (DG). DG got ejected from Game 2 for his unsportsmanlike conduct. The incident has divided all quarters from fans to Teams to the Coaches and Analysts.

Notwithstanding, the defending champions gave their signature stellar performance and led SK up to 23-points at one point; a performance held from the opening tip till final whistle.

Game 4 is in a few hours and DG will be back . I pray that the Warriors will have a repeat stellar performance and level the scores.

“God hates cheating in the marketplace; he loves it when business is aboveboard.”‭‭

TT Thoughts

Gone are the days when sports was sports – clean and clean. Now we see tons of unprintable tactics deployed in a bid to win. How I wish that players will just play their game and desist from unsportsmanlike conducts. We know the players are skilled, knowledgeable, and passionate in their abilities, but when wicked acts are involved to disadvantage an opponent or Team, it takes away from the real game and players’ SKAs. These unprofessional acts are increasing during games and the League has a few such noted players. Can fans just watch a good fun game? Sure it’s difficult, and takes the most disciplined, not to react when a wrong on (or off) the court has been done to one, but as the saying goes “we do not repay evil with evil, but we overcome evil with good.” May God help us all.

An eye for an eye blinds the whole city.

If you’ve ever been wronged for no reason, you’ll understand why the receiving person acts out of frustration. You get to a point where you say “enough is enough.” Still as good citizens, we’re called to rise above it. May God grant us the grace to so do.

Praying for Peace, Love, and Fun Fair Play.
