Let's Reason Together

,

Did you see Jaden Ivey?

Hey you,

Did you see Jaden Ivey or heard about his media conference on March 13?

If you didn’t, click the link below to watch his media conference:

https://youtu.be/ACgIaBUeNhk?feature=shared

[ Jaden Ivey is an NBA player; Detroit Pistons’ #5 Draft Pick in 2022. The good-looking 22-year old NBA sophomore from Duke has not only proudly put Jesus Christ on the radar, but you and several million others, now know the Pistons. ]

Could Jaden be talking to you and I,

and not just those present at the media conference?
Could you boldly stand for Jesus like Jaden did that night?

Or are you living your faith cautiously,
being socially-  or is it religiously-correct
not wanting to bother
nor step on anyone’s religious foot?

I’m sure Father God and Jesus were proud of Jaden
And, I hope you know,
that if they were proud of Jaden
So, was Holy Spirit.

The Time is Now

It’s time for you and I to take a bold stand for Jesus

If we don’t stand for Jesus, remember what He said?

“If you’re ashamed of me,
I’ll also be ashamed of you
If you profess Me before men
I will parade you before men” (paraphrase)
(Mark 8:38, Luke 9:26)

It’s a relationship

Not that our Lord will ever do such
But it’s a way to remind us
That He desires a relationship
with you and I.

How would you feel
If someone you are dating and profess to love
Is not proud to be seen with you
Or is ashamed to equally profess you in public?

That will not be cool
will it?
None wants to be a second fiddle, right
Or an after-thought

Selah

As Jesus said of the alabaster woman:

“Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭14‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So shall it be said of Jaden Ivey going forward in the name of Jesus.

What would you do now?

Let’s emulate Jaden, my friend, so that the same can be said of you and I. Ours doesn’t have to be a media conference. But proclaim and profess Him whenever and wherever.

Jesus is Lord, King, and Savior.
Jesus is my Lord, my King, and my Savior.

How about you?
