  1. True or False:ย Following/Unfollowingย is a part of social media terrain. True

Isย bloggingย a part of social media? It is for me due to the interaction between me and some fellow bloggers.

Do you thinkย Following/Unfollowingย belongs in the blogging community? Yes

Why do you think bloggersย Follow/Unfollow
-in blogging, birds of the same feather go together, otherwise, at least one of the blog niche must be of interest to the blogger or he or she would see it as a waste of time.
    – I notice that when a blogger first follows you and you don’t follow back within a short period of time, they unfollow you.

What advice/suggestion do you have for those whoย Follow/Unfollowย blogs/bloggers? Do not follow a blog that isn’t within your niche or is of deep interest to you. For me, I am a creative writer, I follow blogs that has to do with poems, stories and related books, in addition to that, I like travel, motivational and inspirational blogs, , wellness, humour, fitness.. I can unfollow an abusive, swearworded and sex blogs, If I followed them without thinking. You know. I love my healthy mind. Hope I’ve not talked too much.

Any advice for those saddened byย Follow/Unfollow?

  4. Thought it fit to offer my answers first.

    1. True or False: Following/Unfollowing is a part of social media terrain.

    True

    2. Is blogging a part of social media?

I donโ€™t think so; theyโ€™re both part of the online platform though. I look forward to hearing everyoneโ€™s take on this. ๐Ÿ˜Š

    3. Do you think Following/Unfollowing belongs in the blogging community?

Itโ€™s petty and I donโ€™t think it should especially following/unfollowing a blogger. One might choose to follow/unfollow a post though. But who am I to enforce that?!

    4. Why do you think bloggers Follow/Unfollow?

    I donโ€™t know – beats me!

    5. What advice/suggestion do you have for those who Follow/Unfollow blogs/bloggers?

Stop and desist. It speaks volumes and, if anything, it reflects on you rather than the blogger you followed/unfollowed.

    6. Any advice for those saddened by Follow/Unfollow?

We all are not wired with thick skins. As such, I feel you. My #5 answer above might โ€œconsoleโ€ you. Please ignore whoever follow to unfollow you. Some day soon, I hope that they realize their folly.
    . . .
Looking forward to reading your answers. Thanks again.
